What we do
Aboriginal Community Services is a leading provider of high quality community and residential aged care for Aboriginal Elders to help them live independently at home and enjoy quality of life, community and cultural activities.
We offer accommodation, care and support at the Elders Village and TPN – Pukatja, as well as services to Elders in the community at home through Home Care.
Aboriginal Community Services supports a continuum of aged care services across South Australia. We aim to enrich the lives of our clients through the delivery of culturally appropriate services that are continuously improved and represent value for money.
We have a well-trained and committed workforce and access to a network of State and Commonwealth service providers and a range of Aboriginal-specific organisations.

Trachoma Elimination Program
One of the critical public health issues affecting Indigenous communities is trachoma, a preventable infectious disease that causes blindness.
The Trachoma Elimination Program offered by Aboriginal Community Services strives towards eliminating trachoma in collaboration with member services, schools, communities, government, and non-government organisations.
The program follows the SAFE strategy recommended by the World Health Organisation and the Communicable Disease Network Australia.
